Terms & conditions

SafeSwitch Wholesale · Draft for review · 6 October 2026

These terms are being finalised. Delivery estimates must be confirmed before these become the shop’s final sales terms.

1. Definitions and scope

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “the Company” mean SafeSwitch Solutions Ltd, trading as SafeSwitch Wholesale at safeswitchportal.com/wholesale. “You” and “the customer” mean the person or business buying goods from us. These terms apply to shop orders. Any separately agreed trade arrangements must be confirmed in writing and do not remove consumer statutory rights.

2. Who we are

SafeSwitch Wholesale is operated by SafeSwitch Solutions Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 16396110. Registered office: 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NE. This is our registered office and is not a designated goods returns address. For sales, order support, cancellations, returns or complaints, call 07523 146188 or email paul@safeswitch.co.uk.

3. Orders and payment

Check product details, quantities, your contact details and delivery address before paying. Prices are in pounds sterling. The basket shows the total payable, including any delivery charge, before payment. Payments are processed through Stripe. An order acknowledgement confirms receipt of your order; acceptance occurs when we confirm dispatch. If an item cannot be supplied, we will contact you and refund any payment for that item.

4. Delivery

Orders of £100 or more qualify for free delivery. Delivery costs £4.50 for orders below £100, shown in the basket before payment. Goods may be dispatched directly by our fulfilment partner, but SafeSwitch remains your seller and your point of contact. Delivery estimates will be provided with your order. Unless another delivery date is agreed, goods will be delivered within 30 days. Risk passes to you when you or a person you nominate takes physical possession of the goods. Contact us if delivery is delayed, missing or damaged.

5. Your right to cancel

If you buy as a consumer online, you can cancel without giving a reason within 14 days after receiving the goods. For an order delivered in separate parts, the period starts when you receive the last part. Email paul@safeswitch.co.uk with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel. Return the goods within 14 days of telling us. You may inspect goods as you would in a shop; excessive handling may reduce your refund. Any statutory exceptions, such as genuinely bespoke goods, will be explained before you order.

6. Returns and refunds

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning unwanted goods. We do not charge a standard restocking fee. Contact SafeSwitch for the correct return address before sending goods back; do not assume the dispatch address is the return address. For a valid consumer cancellation, we refund the goods and the standard outbound delivery charge. Refunds use the original payment method and are made within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence that you sent them back, whichever is earlier. We may withhold a refund until then. For cancellations before dispatch, we refund within 14 days of being told.

7. Faulty or incorrect goods

Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Your statutory rights include a short-term right to reject faulty goods, normally within 30 days, and rights to repair, replacement or a refund where applicable. Contact SafeSwitch with your order number and details of the problem. We cover reasonable return costs for faulty or incorrect goods. A manufacturer warranty is additional to your statutory rights.

8. Installation and product suitability

The shop supplies goods; installation is included only where expressly stated. Check specifications and compatibility before ordering. Electrical installation must be carried out by a suitably competent person and comply with applicable requirements. This does not remove our responsibility for goods that are faulty or not as described.

9. Privacy and complaints

We use your order and contact details to process payment, fulfil your order and provide customer support. Delivery details are shared with the fulfilment partner where needed to deliver your goods. Email paul@safeswitch.co.uk if you have a complaint.

10. Quotations and changes

A separate quotation is subject to the specifications and information you provide. We will confirm any changes to a quotation before you agree to them. The total shown at checkout is the amount authorised for that order; we will not add a price increase after payment without your agreement.

11. Ownership

Ownership of goods passes when we receive full payment. For consumers, responsibility for loss or damage in transit remains with us until delivery to you or your nominated recipient.

12. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers can also rely on mandatory protections and bring proceedings in the courts available to them where they live.

13. Your legal rights

Nothing in these terms limits consumer statutory rights or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Consumers retain the protections of the law applicable to them.

Returns & refunds policy

SafeSwitch Wholesale is operated by SafeSwitch Solutions Ltd · Company number 16396110.

Change-of-mind returns

If you buy online as a consumer, you can tell us you wish to cancel within 14 days after receiving your goods, without giving a reason. For goods delivered separately, the period starts after receiving the last part. You then have another 14 days to return them. Email paul@safeswitch.co.uk with your order number and the items you wish to return, or use any other clear cancellation statement. You do not need to register an account or use a particular form. You may open packaging and inspect goods as you would in a shop. Please return all supplied parts and packaging where possible. We may deduct an actual reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods. We do not charge a standard restocking fee. You are responsible for the direct cost of returning unwanted goods.

Returning your goods

Contact SafeSwitch on 07523 146188 or paul@safeswitch.co.uk for the correct return address and shipping instructions. Our registered office is not a goods returns address. Pack goods securely and retain proof of postage. Including your order number helps us identify your return.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

Contact SafeSwitch with your order number, a description of the problem and photographs where helpful. Please report delivery damage promptly so we can investigate. SafeSwitch remains responsible for resolving your claim, including where goods were delivered directly by our fulfilment partner. We cover reasonable return costs for faulty or incorrect goods. Your statutory rights include the right to reject faulty goods, normally within 30 days, and rights to repair, replacement or a refund where applicable. These rights are not restricted by a manufacturer warranty.

Refunds

For a valid consumer cancellation, we refund the goods and any standard outbound delivery charge. Any extra amount paid for premium delivery is not refundable. Refunds are made to the original payment method without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence that they were sent back, whichever is earlier. We may withhold the refund until either occurs. For cancellations before dispatch, we refund within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the refund.

Bespoke goods and warranties

Some genuinely personalised or made-to-specification goods may be exempt from change-of-mind cancellation. Any applicable exception will be explained before purchase. Ordering an item specially does not automatically make it exempt. Manufacturer warranties are additional to your statutory rights. Warranty exclusions do not remove our responsibility for goods that are faulty or not as described.

Your legal rights

Nothing in this policy limits your consumer statutory rights. Any separate arrangements for business purchases must be agreed in writing.
